We have an exciting job opportunity at Versi Vino. We are looking for a “Jill/Jack of All Trades” and key holder for our front of the house.

We expect the position to offer roughly 20 hours per week.

Tuesday - Friday 11AM - 4:30 PM with some flexibility to adjust hours.

Duties include (and not limited to):

  • Opening Versi Vino punctually at 11AM Tuesday-Friday.

  • Accepting wine deliveries.

  • Stocking our retail shelving with bottles of wine.

  • Doing inventory on a weekly basis.

  • Doing some prep work for dinner service, such as printing menu’s.

  • Customer Facing responsibilities include helping out retail customers with to-go purchases.

  • Customer Liaising includes responding to guest email request for events and large reservations in addition to follow-up on event selections and details.

  • Service: You will also be doing some light table service for guests that dine in during these daytime hours. Expectations would be a few tables per shift.

The right candidate will have:

  • Some prior experience in the restaurant / retail environment including service is a plus.

  • An interest and some knowledge of wine is a must.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • You will be the first point of contact as customers enter Versi during our daytime hours. With this we expect the right candidate to have a professional demeanor and positive attitude, as well as an attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions.

  • Must be able to lift a case of wine (~30lbs)

Our software suite includes Toast POS and OpenTable. Prior experience with these is a plus, but not mandatory.

This is an hourly rate position with the ability to earn tips on tables serviced during your work hours. This position offers the ability to grow into a larger role for the right candidate.
