Vietti | Roero Arneis | 2020

5. Vietti Roero.jpg

The grapes for this Roero Arneis DOCG are sourced from grapes in the heart of the Roero area. The grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. About half-way through fermentation, the tank is sealed, causing the wine to reabsorb a small amount of natural CO2 for a refreshing spritz on the palate. Fresh and floral on the nose with hints of citrus, melon, and almond.

This wine is exceptional as an aperitif but also pairs beautifully with light hors d’oeuvres, raw fish, salads, or creamy cheese.
